Similar discrepancies were observed with the NEET result
The development comes amid similar discrepancies that have been reported in the NEET-UG 2024 examination, with allegations of question paper leaks being raised in states like Bihar.
The news of the NTA exam came when similar discrepancies were already being reported in the NEET-UG 2024 examination alleging that the question leaks were being raised in states like Bihar.
As per media reports, 67 students scored perfect 720 marks, which has never happened before in the history of NTA. Out of these students, six were from Haryana’s Faridabad. It is alleged that grace marks contributed to 67 students sharing the top position.
The NEET-UG examination was held by the NTA for the students seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other related courses in government and private institutions across the country.
As the question of the NEET examination erupted, the testing agency said, “The issue related to grace marks has already been fully addressed. As regards certain irregularities alleged in the conduct of the examination in Patna, a detailed report has been sought from the Economic Offences Unit, Bihar Police. Government will take further action, on receipt of this report”.
