UPSC or Union Public Service Commission, is one of the toughest exams in India that recruits candidates for officers to All India Services and the Central Civil Services through an examination conducted every year and also appoints officers under the government of India.
Candidates do their best to qualify for the examination, but many students fail to clear it. The journey of the examination is not easy not only for students but for their families as well. During the preparation or even after the examination, a student needs the support of their family and their friends.
In many cases, parents understand the toughness of the examination and support their children despite many failures, however, not everyone is that lucky.
Father busted over son for poor UPSC performance
Recently, a screenshot of a father-son went viral on X (formerly known as Twitter), where a student told his father that he was going to get only 75 marks in the UPSC Prelims 2024.
The screenshot shows how a dissatisfied father is bursting on his son for his poor performance in the UPSC 2024 examination.
The father sent a WhatsApp text to his son that, “Tumko hum pahle v bole the is me samay barbad nahi karo. Ab tum kahi ke nahi raha” (We told you earlier not to waste your time in this. Now you are useless).
“Ghar akar bat karo, Satyam ka dekho 120 question sahi hai” (Come home and talk, see Satyam’s 120 questions are correct)
“Humko bap kuch nahi diya ijjat se Delhi jaisa shar me rahkar Jo Kiya wo tum dekha” (Father did not give us anything. You saw what we did with respect by living in a city like Delhi)
“Raha Tumhara bat tum se n humko koi ummid hai nahi humko kuch tum de payga” (As for you, we neither have any expectations from you nor will you be able to give us anything)
“Aaj v agar hum imandari se padhai kare to upsc kya kuch v nikal denge is bar ka question me v 20 questions mughe aata tha aur rum 40 kiya ise se samjho ki tum kya karoge galimat hai ki tum sirf sahi bta diya. Tumhara padhai ka aukat ab sab Delhi se lekar ristedar Tak samjh gaya.” (If I honestly study today, I can clear anything not just UPSC. Even this time, I know 20 questions and you have done only 40 questions. The only good thing is that you told us the truth. Every relative in Delhi is now aware of your potential).
